The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center - where teaching and learning are informed not only by the content of the discipline but also by the lives of those we serve.
The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center is a community of committed teachers, leaders, volunteers, mentors and community development professionals dedicated to the advancement and revitalization of the Metro East.
We are led by Sylvester “Sunshine” Lee who, through a lifetime of tireless service, advocates and develops community programming to decrease gaps of opportunity. He reminds us that our most enriching resource are the lives we touch.
100% of our participants graduate from high-school.
73% have improved their academic achievement.
93% have gone on to four-year universities following graduation.
